So our tour continues and, after a short break between Fringe performances, Shelter Repertory Dance Theatre is at it again. Our last two shows are on Friday at 4:00 pm and Sunday at 7:00 pm at the Intermedia Arts Center and if you are in the area you can find more info at the Fringe website here. During our few days off, several of us in the company attended some other Fringe shows, one of which, “Your Mother Dances“, inspired me to post this video from Gotan Project. If you haven’t heard of them, you’re in for a treat and for all you ballroom dancers out there, shame on you if you don’t know who I’m talking about…not really, but definitely watch this video. This is a group that has redefined argentine tango as dance and music. While browsing my mother-in-law’s ballroom-themed blog the other day (See You On The Floor, a great read for those who are and aren’t dancers) I came across this video clip produced by the group.

Posting a video showcasing a mix of the arts seemed perfectly appropriate. So, take a moment and enjoy the exciting and sultry rhythms of one of my favorite groups, Gotan Project.
