Continuing with this morning’s feature. Remember this post? It’s been a while! Finally, after all the chaos of this Spring and Summer, I found the opportunity to apply some of those simplifying and organizing tips to my jewelry shelf. I still have many more ideas to develop in this area, like reframing all my favorite candid snapshots in thin black frames for a uniformly organized picture grid. But for now I believe this is a pretty good start. Especially when you consider where I started.
OLD Version: (yuck)
NEW Version: (ahhh)
Much better, don’t you think? It’s so much more enjoyable to pick out my accessories now that I’ve scaled back to just what I want and wear. By having more frequently used items close at hand and storing less popular pieces, I’m able to make quicker, more satisfied decisions. Not to mention it just looks better. Yipee!
* As you can see, we’ve been working hard to make our home all that it can be. So, don’t forget to vote for us and our apartment in the CB2 and The Selby Contest HERE. Let’s keep the votes rollin’ in!

I like how you have your jewelry laid out. I have these cool gold boxes similar to your white ones that I plan on reorganizing my jewelry in.

It is so fun to use unexpected items in new ways, such as those white jewelry boxes. I realized that when they are open, they serve as a great bracelet display! Thanks again for your comment, Sage Mag!
