September is a month that will forever symbolize two things to me: the encroaching cool weather and the return to school. Of course, my life has changed dramatically since my graduation from college this past Spring, so school is no longer a part of my transition into Fall. And I am very glad to say that I have reached this chapter of my life…the non-student life. Regardless, I still feel those same longings that accompany the academic season. Desires for structure, pursuit, new people, new places, fresh material and the constant game of catching your goals by the tail and achieving more than you expected. Ahhh. I do miss that…….oops, what? Miss?! I swore I’d never say that! Alas, that’s not the first time I have contradicted myself. To celebrate both the achievement as well as the memory of school days gone by (maybe for you they are present), I am composing a collection of school inspired style. Study up!
And, please don’t forget to vote for Hilary Inspired’s apartment entry in the CB2 & The Selby Contest. We are so very close but we need YOUR help in order to reach our goal. Spread the word or vote for yourself by following this link HERE. Thanks for all your support and interest!

Congrats! I’m on the same boat as ya. Finishing school is bittersweet, but I’m glad it’s over. Maybe it’s just me, but I shop a little differently now as well. I try to stay away from the casual clothing, the casual/sporty bags, the sneakers, and the sporty coats. Wow, I’m getting old..haha

Thanks for visiting Sage Mag! Love your blog, by the way! It’s an interesting transition from school to “real-world”. But I’m slowly adjusting. It’s nice to know of others out there that are going through the same thing, though. Best of luck to you during this time in your life and come back anytime!
