This week launched the beginning of New York Fashion Week for the Spring 2011 season, which means crowds of savvy industry participants and interested guests will descend on the area in their finest Fall apparel. And what is the first thing that comes to mind when considering this upcoming Fall season?…Return of classic feminine. And nothing symbolizes that quintessential elegance better than the kitten heel.
And thank goodness! My aching feet were beginning to bother me.

Don’t worry about it, Its Strangely Me! Do your own thing and be your own person. Remember, if the shoe doesn’t fit, don’t wear it!! The kitten heel is kind of my thing and I’ll probably wear it even when its not in style. So, do the same for yourself…wear what you love no matter if its in fashion or not! Thanks for the comment and hope to hear from you again soon.

I like kitten heels, but they’re not as flattering as high heels. They’re definitely more comfy.

I totally agree, Sage Mag! You just can’t beat the length that a great pair of high heels brings.

Did you notice that the red kitten heel with feathers and a bow resemble Fancy Nancy’s shoes she wears when she dresses up I have a 6 and 10yr old so this is the sort of thing I notice.

I visited your blog, too, and really enjoyed it! How is decor8′s blogging e-course going? I so wanted to be a part of that but learned about it too late.

Hi Hillary,
Thanks so much for checking out my blog!!! Would love any advice you have. I started doing this a year ago but feel like its still all new… The e-course is really great. I’m so glad I signed up. I didn’t realize it but its 3 lessons per week for 4 weeks and so far 4 different very interesting homework assignments. Kind of ” all-about-me” bc we have to analyze what we think we can bring to the table based on what we love doing and what audience we want to capture. I know she’s planning another one for the Winter term.
Angelina Ballerina wasn’t even around when I was a kid so that tells you something. Glad you liked Fancy Nancy. Little girls love her and its a pretty cool concept – use Nancy uses ” fancy” words then explains what they mean….
Again, thanks and any advice is welcome. Especially on building readership… I have 6 followers… I know a lot of my friends read it but signing up for google reader is foreign to them. So far I’ve gotten the most hits once I put a link on facebook and the e-course as well as when I entered a little contest to make a little girls dress from a particular pattern that escapes me now.
Well that’s all for now. I’ve been staying up way too late checking out everybody’s blogs. Fun but I have to get to other stuff too!
Keep in touch.
Best,
Suzanne

So glad to hear your enjoying the class and staying busy with it, Suzanne. Best of luck with your blog ventures (it is an ever evolving process, isn’t it?)! And I would love to keep our blog friendship up.
Let me know how the class wraps up.
