To the Symphony!

Ahhh, Thursday’s! The beginning of my weekend as a retail salesperson! No more free Saturday’s and Sunday’s…for me it’s all about Thursday’s and Friday’s. So, my long anticipated day off consisted of laundry, straightening, bank run, dishes, email replies, and on and on…you get the idea. Catch up work! By the end of it, I was ready for a sophisticated evening of symphony music at the TCU Symphonic Band and Wind Symphony performance. It was the first concert for me to attend at TCU in which David was performing so I wanted to dress well for the occasion. Inspired by the a-chromatic color scheme of a piano, I went with a soft ivory ensemble topped with a pinstripe blazer and scarf.

I know what you’re thinking, isn’t it supposed to be Fall? No more whites, ivories, pastels, etc? Well, my dears, it’s Texas and while one minute you think the weather has turned for the better, without fail the very next day you’re back to where you started!! Alas, my wardrobe may never change.

And now I’m off to the next adventure…tonight, The Fort Worth Symphony at Bass Hall! Enjoy your weekend!
