What comes to mind around the beginning of the holiday season? Family, hospitality, entertaining, food? Yes, yes, and yes, of course! Our focus shifts from outdoor sports to indoor gathering and suddenly our home presentation becomes a concern. After all, the people are only part of the experience! Home is the other half and something we often remember fondly years later. Lately, I have been browsing a few of this month’s home decor catalogs that are arriving in the mail box and I have been especially excited about all the organically inspired dinnerware gracing the covers. West Elm‘s collections were particularly stunning!
Then I ventured online to find yet more dinnerware of a natural theme…oh boy, prepare yourself for some beauties!
This artisan from Etsy, One Clay Bead, had a wide variety of glazed and marbled ceramic tableware that made me want to ditch all my fine china and adopt a more craftsman style. Again…stunning!
And finally, a collection by Michael Aram at Nordstrom pulled directly from mother nature’s offerings.
How will you dress your table for Fall guests and visitors?

Lovely, and I bet they had a great time making everything. The fun is seeing your creation after it comes out of the kiln.

I agree…it’s like getting a present in the mail…the excitement is in its uncovering.
