Yesterday was a fully packed and totally exciting day of design and blogging adventures. It all started with a relaxed morning at The House on Victory Ave. for The Dallas City Living Tour. Beautiful interiors, friendly visitors and a new buddy!! (Michelle, it was so wonderful to finally meet you in person!) Next on my agenda was my second day with Bonnee at¬†Studio Bon Textiles, yet another awesome place to learn and grow in my understanding of design. Life there is moving along at a speedy pace and I am super thrilled to be a part of it! Sample sending, ordering filling, office organizing…and a few hours later I was off to the POST: Blogger Social hostessed by two terribly talented ladies, Beth of Hello, Splendor and Kelly of Fabulous K.

For several weeks now, the two have been planning and coordinating a beautiful evening for local bloggers in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area. What a generous thing to do?! The event took place at the new location of the hippest boutique in town, The Nest. They have managed to mix exotic, retro, cutting edge, classic, and humorous all into one fabulous shop for your home, lifestyle and look. Joining in a little post-POST fun, I am including a peek at some of my favorite items from the shop’s collection of goodies that I scavenged throughout the evenings festivities.

Gorgeous hand woven rugs and clever architectural decorative boxes. (Notice the plan footprint on the inside base of the boxes…adorable!)

Shiny Mondrian Inspired stationery boxes and the funniest looking wishbone seat!

And finally, some of the most beautiful greeting cards from Bell Invito! Getting a friendly note on one of these beauties would be more than just kind words…but a small gift of art!

If you get the chance, take a moment to browse Nest’s online shop. But be aware that not everything is online so if you’re in the area, you have to visit their boutique in person! There are endless treasures to be found!

*UPDATE: Facebook photos of the event are now up…HERE!
