The power of a beautifully soaring heel is universal. Regardless of language or culture, the high heel has a mysterious way of creating confidence and self-assuredness instantly. (Not to mention, it does wonders for the legs.) But every day, all day? Ouch! Even this shop girl will admit the need to take a break at a lower level. And what is my go to choice (besides the kitten heel), you ask? Without a hint of hesitation, the classic ballet flat! Last week, I happened upon this perfect scarlet pair and have worn them almost everyday since. This will not be the end of my collection, I can promise you that! In fact, I already have my eyes set on Repetto’s line of dainty darlings. Sigh! I feel French just looking at them!
All Shoes by Repetto: 1. BALLERINE TALON RAPHIA PAILLE, 2. BALLERINE BB FORMICA CABAN, 3. BALLERINE BB CUIR BRILLANT BULLE, 4. BALLERINE CAMILLE TEJUS PUCE, 5. BALLERINE CAMILLE VERNIS PAILLE, 6. BALLERINE BB CUIR BRILLANT NOIR, 7. BALLERINE NORMA CABAN RIVIERA, 8. BALLERINE FLORA VERNIS CUIR PUCE

And why does this not surprise me that you would feel more comfortable in a “ballet slipper” over any other type of shoe? Do they make shoes like toe shoes or does that fit in the category of high heels?
