The weekend is well upon us and before long sugar-high children in all assortments of costumery will be prancing the streets for candy. Although I’ve never been the biggest participant of Halloween spookiness, I do have many fond memories of homemade childhood costumes – Sacagawea, Ana Pavlova, Amelia Earhart… we had a thing for historic characters growing up.

I do love a good costume party and will never turn down an excuse to dress up!
