This series has been so much fun for me! Who doesn’t love an excuse to shop the local thrifts and fleas each weekend? Those that know me understand my obsession.
Today’s post features a beautiful table I spotted at Berry Good Buys in Fort Worth. This particular table was really impressive – the details were stunning – but I’ve seen many others in various styles that could serve a similar purpose. If you have a large entry or multi-use dining room like the interior space featured in Domino Magazine and shown below, then this idea is perfect…. all you need is a shiny, fresh coat of paint to make those details pop!!

What do you think? Is this simple enough? Would you try something similar?

I love the idea of painting it white…for some reason that never occurs to me. Sadly, I have no grand entry way to showcase such a gorgeous piece!

Me neither…. just a small dining room. But round pedestal tables work in those too!

I like the idea of a dining table that size and shape. Everyone is close and equal (King Arthur was onto something). It would be great for playing cards, as well.

Yes, King Arthur had some pretty good ideas!
Card and games nights are the best!!

I understand your obsession
Love the idea of a gorgeous pedestal table in the entryway….just need a house first, though

Great table! I love the octagon shape vs traditional round, and all the woodworking detail! We just sold our gorgeous dining table because it was too big for the space, and you’ve got me thinking about this one!
{mommy chic} design. style. kids. life.

Yes, I loved the octagonal shape too. I think that’s what originally caught my eye!

I like the table you found much better. More detail with the octagon shape and the design around it.

Totally agree! Now, if only I needed another dining room table! Maybe my finds will inspire others in their searches though.

Can’t believe I’m just finding your blog! I was just telling my husband that I was bummed that I couldn’t find any DFW area fashion/thrift/style bloggers. Love your setup. You are absolutely inspiring!
