Well friends, this is going to be one busy week to say the least!! I’m heading off to Austin this morning with my friend Erin for my first blog conference, the Texas Style Council Social Media Conference. To sum up my excitement… I couldn’t go to sleep last night yet still hopped out of bed at 6:00am sharp this morning with a smile on my face, which I never do! Something tells me this is going to be a stellar weekend!!
SIDE NOTE: Join me and the other bloggers for a special PoshMark shopping party Saturday evening via the comfort of your own home by downloading the app on your iPhone. I’ll be selling a party dress that evening and there are sure to be lots of other gorgeous offerings from the rest of the attendees! Learn more about the party and PoshMark HERE.
Once arriving back in Dallas on Sunday, I’ll be preparing to welcome my mother and father-in-law into town to see David perform his senior masters recital! (I am SO proud!)
The next weekend will be, once again, all about fun! I am thrilled to announce the first-ever Dallas Vintage Clothing and Jewelry Show, which will be taking place on…
MARCH 16-17, 2012 AT THE GRAPEVINE CONVENTION CENTER
This event is showing all signs of being a really fantastic destination for vintage enthusiasts and I would love to have you and a friend join me for the treasure-hunting fun! It’s my pleasure to giveaway two pairs of tickets to next weekend’s show. Simply follow the Dallas Vintage Clothing and Jewelry Show FACEBOOK Page (you’ll find previews of the clothing and vendors scheduled to attend) and return here to comment on your favorite thing about vintage. I’ll be randomly selecting two winners and announcing those people on Tuesday morning, March 13th.
*There has been lots of wardrobe assessment recently…
Looking forward to seeing you there!! CIAO!

My favorite thing about vintage is the unknown of a great thrift store. Unlike retail, which you can preview online and on the runway, you Never Know what you’re going to find when I dive into a great shopping day!

I love vintage style for timeless looks. The cuts and lines are so feminine if you find the right piece. It’s treasure.

Hi Hilary! I just wanted to stop by and let you know that it was such a pleasure meeting you this weekend at TxSC. Your blog is beautiful and I can not wait to read more. Like I said before, we’re going to be buying a home soon and I can already see that your blog is going to be a wonderful inspiration when it comes time to design the interior. Good luck with everything!
