Denise McGaha is more comfortable in creative “chaos” than organized placidity. She prefers the bustling activity of a multi-tasker over the perfectly manageable schedule of a “nine to five-er”. In fact, too much ease makes her nervous. When I met Denise, who I’ve assisted on several design projects over the past 10 months, for our shoot a few weeks ago, the Summer lull was starting to get to her. Things have got to be happening for this lady!
The McGaha home with husband Scott, daughter Jori, and son Jaxon reflects the family’s busy lifestyle and acts as a much needed retreat from the hurried world they work in outside. As the owner and principal designer of a Dallas-based interior design firm, Denise McGaha Interiors, it’s no wonder Denise’s style is so beautifully expressed in the details of her space. Rustic masculinity meets feminine modernism in today’s style story.

Miss Jori greeted me at the front door with such style and elegance as only a budding hostess would!
Rivers… the quiet monarch.
Angel… in all her majesty.
Like mother, like daughter… sent home with warm wishes and beautiful photographs. Thank you, Denise, for playing hostess for the afternoon!
