Well, friends… I’m almost back from my Tennessee travels and just in time to share a very special blog post. Sam Reitmayer Sano is a graphic designer in Dallas, TX and a person to whom I owe much thanks. When I first moved to Dallas and was in search of work and industry acquaintances, Sam was the first person to meet me for coffee. Besides giving me some invaluable advice, she also introduced me to several other ladies that I can now say I am fortunate enough to actually work with! Abbe of Studio Ten 25, Beth of PULP Design Studios, and Leslie of Again & Again to name a few. And remember Jane & Judy’s home? Sam designed that too!
Today, Sam’s home is featured in Rue Magazine’s first ever Texas Issue! I had the chance to sit down with Sam once more last week and interview her for the article I wrote to accompany her feature. Of course, I also took the chance to snap a few photographs of her place. This isn’t the typical Style Story post… think of it more as a closer look into her stunning space beyond the pages of the magazine. Instead of the usual audio interview, hop over to Rue’s August/September issue to see the rest of Sam’s home and read about her unique design career. If this is any evidence of her design prowess, you’re not going to believe the rest of it!!
Don’t forget… Explore the rest of Sam’s home and read the story of her work HERE (beginning on page 126)!!
