Just in case you missed the exciting news on Wednesday, Rue Magazine launched their first-ever Texas issue and I was honored to write the story accompanying Samantha Sano’s beautiful Dallas home (pg. 126). Perhaps my favorite element of Sam’s space is the undeniable ambiance it carries! A big part of that experience was undoubtedly the time of day that I visited her but the collection of votive candles and dimly lit table lamps didn’t hurt either.
It may not be everyday that you indulge in the simple ceremony of lighting candles but maybe this weekend you will. It can be a welcome escape at the end of the work week… treat yourself.

That looks similar to my votive candle collection. I hate I missed that event..totally slipped my mind. I’ve got to pay close attention to my calendar
