New York Fashion Week officially ended yesterday. And what does this mean for me besides my mini “Fashion Moment” series coming to an end? (ok, yes, i’ll still be blogging about fashion) Not much, actually, except that I’ll now be getting my runway photo feed from across the pond in fashion’s next destination, London. Backtage hustle, streetstyle frenzy, designer envy. Same game, different place.
Meanwhile, back in the state of Texas, I’ve been sitting under a different kind of high-voltage lights… Friday night lights. If you didn’t already know, football is big in Texas and high school band is an equally important part of the experience. Last weekend, I joined David and his band on the bus and in the stands for a big rivalry game, Crowley vs. North Crowley. (go Panthers!!) Funny thing is, I didn’t attend a public high school (home schooled) so, as “American” as it is to attend a high school football game over the weekend, I’ve only done it a handful of times. Turns out, it’s a real blast!
Maybe I’m not sitting under the lights of a glamourous fashion show, but I’m having fun none the less! Cheers to your entertainment of choice this weekend, what ever it may be!
And a few highlights from the week, in case you missed them…
