Golden turning leaves, smoldering camp fires, the warm glow of late afternoon light… it’s all part of the seasonal tide from Summer to Fall. Recently, our seasonal “tides” have been ebbing and flowing back and forth especially quickly. If I’m being honest, it’s kind of a nuisance. One day you’re in wool knits and cozy leggings and the next you’re back in breezy blouses and maxi dresses! But on this particular day, it was crisp, cool, and lovely.
Ahhh! Relief.
Golden checks, tonal paisley, metallic patina, and my standby hide clutch made this occasion all the more autumnal. Somehow it seems quintessentially Fall and yet surprisingly fresh!
What color palette have you been gravitating towards recently?

I love this outfit and the way you put paisley and checks together. The blue shoes are something I would never have thought of, but I love the look. I just found your blog recently and I’m hooked now.
P.S. I’m a long-time friend of your in-laws and also friend of your sister-in-law and all her boys.

Hi Bertie! Thanks so much for visiting my blog. I’m thrilled that you’ve enjoyed reading so far.
Tom, Kibble, Cassie, Phillip, and the boys are dear to us and we can’t wait to see them when we visit for Thanksgiving. In the meantime, tell them we said HI!
